Play Yoshi : Topsy-Turvy Online
Tilt your GBA to flip Yoshi’s world upside down—platforms become walls, boulders roll sideways, and you’ll laugh when he suddenly turns into a bouncing ball mid-fall.

Yoshi: Topsy-Turvy came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Nintendo and Artoon. It was part of that experimental phase on the GBA where developers tried to push the hardware with new ideas, like built-in motion controls. This one stood out because it required you to physically tilt the entire console to interact with the game world.
You control Yoshi, navigating through side-scrolling levels to rescue Baby Bowser from a curse. The core mechanic involves tilting the GBA left or right to physically shift the environment, making platforms rise or fall, changing gravity for certain objects, and even altering Yoshi's transformation forms. You'll also use his signature egg-throwing and tongue-grabbing to deal with enemies and solve puzzles. The pacing is deliberate, often slowing down to let you figure out the right tilt for each obstacle, and the difficulty comes more from spatial reasoning than reflexes. It feels surprisingly tactile and silly, like you're playing with a digital toy rather than just running and jumping.
