Konami released Yu-Gi-Oh! Sugoroku no Sugoroku for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, a time when handhelds were full of experimental spin-offs. It’s a board game adaptation of the anime, built around dice rolls and quick duels rather than deep strategy. You don’t see many digital sugoroku games outside Japan, so this one always stood out for its straightforward, almost casual approach to the Yu-Gi-Oh universe.

You control Yugi, moving him across a digital board by rolling dice. The goal is to reach the end before your opponent, but landing on certain spaces triggers card battles. These duels are simplified; you summon monsters and set traps quickly, without the complex chains of the main series games. The board itself is full of hazards, like trap panels that can send you backward or steal your life points. Pacing is brisk, and luck plays a big role in how smoothly any given run goes. It feels like a relaxed, almost mischievous twist on the usual duel-heavy gameplay.
