Pilot giant mechs in turn-based battles where positioning matters—dodge behind cover or flank enemies with your Zoid’s unique abilities. The campaign’s got some meat to it, and those late-game squad fights get properly tense.
Game Overview
Zoids - Legacy on the GBA is one of those games that just nails the mech battles better than most. The graphics actually do the Zoids justice—they’re detailed and move smoothly, which isn’t always a given on this handheld. Story’s solid, and there’s a bunch of extra battles to dig into once you’re done with the main campaign.
Only real downside? No custom battle mode. Would’ve been hilarious to set up a 1 vs 20 brawl or something chaotic like that. Still, if you’re into tactical mech fights with a decent story, this one’s a blast.
