Zoom! is one of those weird little Genesis gems that’s way more intense than it looks. You’re this little dude running around a grid, trying to paint every tile while these bouncing monsters chase you. Mess up once? Instant death—no second chances. The controls are simple, but the later levels get brutal with how fast those things move.
At first, I thought it was just a Qix clone, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about clearing a whole stage without stopping. The music’s got that classic early ‘90s synth vibe too—kinda cheesy, but it fits. Just don’t expect to beat it in one sitting unless you’ve got reflexes like a caffeinated squirrel.
