Zoom! is one of those weird little Genesis puzzle games that somehow sticks with you. You play as Zoomer—basically Pac-Man if he grew limbs—and your job is to draw lines around squares to light them up. Sounds simple, but then these little monsters start chasing you, and suddenly you're sweating over every turn.
The real trick is balancing speed with strategy. You could just rush through lines, but finishing full squares gives way more points. And those power-ups? Some fill in whole chunks of the board for you, others just skip levels entirely—I always hoarded them until I was totally cornered. The energy system keeps things tense, too—get hit too many times, and you're back to the start of the level.
It's got that classic '90s arcade vibe where the music speeds up when you're running out of time, and the later levels get seriously mean with enemy patterns. Definitely worth a try if you like your puzzles with a side of panic.
