Play Action 52 (Unl) (Rev A) Online
You mash buttons through 52 barely functional "games"—controls glitch, levels break, and one contest is literally unwinnable. A legendary dumpster fire of NES history.

Action 52 for the NES came out in 1991 from a company called Active Enterprises. It was a cartridge that promised 52 different games in one, which was a big deal back then, but it ended up being one of those releases that people remember for all the wrong reasons. It was part of that era when unlicensed games tried to cash in on the console's popularity, often with little regard for quality or playability.
You control a variety of characters across the different games, from a spaceship to a superhero, but the controls are often unresponsive or broken. The main objective changes from game to game, but most involve simple shooting or platforming, with mechanics that range from basic side scrolling to awkward top down movement. The pacing is either frustratingly slow or unfairly fast, and the difficulty comes more from glitches than design. Playing it feels like fighting the cartridge itself just to get through a single screen without something going wrong.
