Adventures of Lolo is this weirdly charming little puzzle game where you play as a blue blob king trying to rescue his girlfriend (classic). Each screen is like its own brain teaser—you’ve gotta collect all these floating heart things to unlock a chest with the exit key, but nothing’s ever straightforward.

Enemies are everywhere, and they all have their own quirks. Some just stand there until you grab the last heart, others will snipe you the second you step into their line of sight. Then there are the ones that conk out if you bump into them, which feels oddly satisfying. The terrain’s just as tricky—sand slows you down but not enemies, arrows force you to move in one direction, and water’s basically a death trap unless you’ve got an egg or bridge.

Speaking of eggs: my favorite part is turning enemies into them. You can shove eggs around to block shots or use them as makeshift rafts. Sometimes hearts give you special items too, like a hammer to smash rocks or a bridge to skip over water. It starts simple, but by level 10 you’re staring at the screen for five minutes trying to figure out the exact order to push things.
