Alien Breed II: The Horror Continues takes everything that worked in the first game and cranks it up—more aliens, more weapons, more places to get hopelessly lost in. You pick one of four soldiers (I always went with the heavy weapons guy, because why not) and drop into this nightmare colony overrun by creatures that want to turn you into space paste.

The levels are split between three towers—Civilian, Military, Science—connected by these eerie corridors and outdoor sections that feel way too open for comfort. Every zone throws new aliens at you, and the backgrounds actually change enough that you don’t feel like you’re retreading the same hallways forever. The credits you scavenge let you buy upgrades at terminals, but here’s the catch: keys are limited, so you’ve gotta decide whether to risk opening that suspiciously quiet side room or save them for later. (Spoiler: it’s usually full of monsters.)

Best part? You can drag a friend into this mess with you. Just don’t blame me when they “accidentally” shoot you in the back during a swarm.
