Alien Breed: Tower Assault is one of those classic Amiga games that still holds up if you're into tense, top-down shooters. You're basically crawling through dark, claustrophobic corridors blasting aliens—think Aliens meets Gauntlet, but with way more pixelated gore. The third disk in the series ramps up the difficulty, throwing swarms of creepy crawlies at you while you scramble for ammo and keys.
What I love is how the sound design makes every encounter feel desperate—those alien screeches and the thump of your shotgun never get old. Just don’t expect to breeze through it; this one’s brutal in the best way. If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator, it’s still a blast to play.
