Game Overview

Alien Breed: Tower Assault is one of those classic MS-DOS shooters that starts with a bang—literally. You’re part of a squad sent to check out a sketchy distress call from some abandoned science facility, and of course, everything goes wrong immediately. The place shoots your ships out of the sky like target practice, leaving just you and one other poor soul stranded in the middle of god-knows-what.

First thing you notice? The atmosphere. Dim corridors, flickering lights, and this constant hum of machinery that makes you jump at every noise. You’ve got a gun, but ammo’s tight, and those alien things? They don’t wait for you to figure things out. The controls take a second to get used to (classic ’90s tank-style movement), but once it clicks, blasting through waves of creepy crawlies feels satisfying in that old-school way. Just don’t get too comfortable—the game loves throwing curveballs, like turrets popping out of nowhere or doors sealing shut behind you.

It’s brutal, it’s tense, and yeah, you’ll probably die a lot. But there’s something weirdly addictive about pushing deeper into that facility, wondering what fresh horror waits around the next corner.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
