Play Alien Storm Amiga Online
1990 action game for Amiga. Play as one of three heroes with unique weapons and special attacks. Six missions with varied environments, hidden enemies, and boss fights. Features shooting gallery segments and co-op mode.

Alien Storm hit the Amiga in 1990, a port of SEGA's arcade game brought home by U.S. Gold. It arrived during a time when side-scrolling action games were common, but this one stood out with its mix of run-and-gun combat and sci-fi humor. You pick from three characters: a blaster-toting soldier, a flamethrower specialist, or an energy whip-wielding agent, each bringing a different feel to the alien-blasting chaos.
You control your chosen hero through six missions, clearing screens of grotesque aliens before moving forward. The main goal is straightforward: survive each stage and defeat the boss. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen enemy clearing, occasional first-person shooting gallery segments where you pick off aliens in a static view, and the ability to call in a screen-clearing special attack when things get too crowded. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike sharply, especially when swarms of enemies pour in from both sides of the screen. It feels frantic and satisfying, especially with a friend in two-player co-op.
