Play Aquarium Online
Dolphins flip blocks sideways, sharks chomp through ice, and jellyfish zap whole rows—meanwhile, you're dodging ink clouds and scrambling to melt frozen fish before your stack hits the ceiling. It's Tetris on caffeine with a side of underwater warfare.

I picked up Aquarium on Arcade back in 2020, developed by Oceanic Studios. It came out during a time when the platform was full of inventive puzzle games, and this one stood out for its aquatic theme and chaotic energy. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it had a distinct personality that made it memorable among other block-droppers.
You control a diver at the bottom of the screen, stacking colorful sea creatures as they fall from above. The main goal is to clear rows by matching three or more of the same type, but it gets messy fast. Dolphins can flip adjacent blocks horizontally, sharks chew through frozen tiles to free trapped fish, and jellyfish clear entire rows with an electric pulse. The pace is relentless; you're constantly managing falling blocks, thawing ice with limited heat charges, and avoiding ink squirts that obscure your view. It feels like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle during a hurricane.
