Violent Storm is one of those classic arcade brawlers that feels like Final Fight but with its own grimy charm. You pick from three characters—Wade’s the balanced one, Boris hits like a truck but moves slow, and Kyle’s quick but fragile. I usually go with Wade because, well, I like not dying immediately.

The whole thing’s set in this weird post-apocalyptic city where you’re punching your way through gangs to rescue some kidnapped girl. The usual stuff—knives, pipes, random trash cans you can chuck at people. It’s got seven stages, and by the third one, you’ll start realizing just how many dudes the game throws at you at once. Classic arcade nonsense, but the kind that makes you keep feeding quarters.

It’s not deep, but sometimes you just wanna smash buttons and watch dudes fly across the screen.
