Arabian Nights on the Amiga is one of those games that starts with a ridiculous premise and just runs with it. You're Sinbad Jr., a gardener who gets a little too curious about the princess—until a demon swoops in and kidnaps her. Of course, you try to play the hero, but the guards toss you in the dungeon instead. Classic.
The game throws you into nine levels packed with weird little challenges. One minute you're racing mine carts, the next you're haggling with random characters—give them the right item, and they might actually help you out. There's a snake that frees prisoners (because why not?), frozen doors you melt with a blowtorch, and yes, the obligatory magic carpet section. It's janky in that old-school way where half the fun is figuring out what bizarre thing the game expects you to do next.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game where you either love the chaos or walk away baffled. I still remember getting stuck on the mine cart level for way too long.
