Play Arabian Nights - Sabaku no Seirei Ou (Japan) Online
You play a girl stuck with a humiliated Ifrit in a ring, using risky card battles where high numbers can backfire—SNES charm with a weird twist.

Game Overview
Arabian Nights on SNES is one of those weird little RPGs that never left Japan but totally should have. You play as this girl who stumbles onto a magic ring containing Ifrit—yeah, that Ifrit—except he’s been humbled after getting his butt kicked by some guy named Suleiman. Now he’s stuck granting wishes to earn his freedom, and of course, you get dragged into helping him.
The battle system’s got this cool card twist—you play these condition cards mid-fight that either buff your party or mess with enemies. The twist? Higher-numbered cards beat lower ones, so slapping down a "5" feels risky but can totally backfire if the enemy counters with a "1." Took me a few fights to stop hoarding the good cards, honestly.
It’s got that classic SNES charm—bright colors, a story that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and just enough weird mechanics to keep you curious. Shame it never got localized, but if you’re into digging up obscure RPGs, this one’s a solid find.
