Play Archer Maclean's 3D Pool (U)(Rising Sun) Online
The physics actually make sense—you feel the cue’s weight, and the table punishes sloppy shots. Surprisingly smooth 3D for a GBA pool game.

Archer Maclean's 3D Pool came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2006, published by Rising Sun. It was one of the few pool games on the system that tried to bring a realistic billiards experience to a handheld, at a time when most GBA titles were either platformers or RPGs. The game didn't have a huge marketing push, but it found its audience among players who wanted something a bit more methodical and skill based.
You control the cue stick, aiming and setting power for each shot across a variety of game modes like 8-ball and 9-ball. The main objective is to pocket balls according to the rules of the selected mode, either against AI opponents or a friend with a link cable. Signature mechanics include a behind the ball aiming view that lets you line up shots precisely, and a power meter that determines how hard you strike the cue ball. The physics are surprisingly solid for the hardware; the balls react with believable weight and spin. Matches can be tense and quiet, demanding focus rather than quick reflexes. It feels satisfying to sink a difficult shot after carefully judging the angles.
