Ash Air is one of those weird little Flash games that somehow sticks with you. You're piloting the only plane crazy enough to fly through volcanic ash clouds over Europe, dodging debris and trying not to kill your passengers. The controls take a second to get used to—you're juggling altitude changes with weapon swaps while everything tries to crash into you.
At first I kept slamming into ash plumes because I forgot to adjust my altitude (hint: level 2 is usually safest). The weapons feel satisfying though—there's something weirdly fun about blasting through chunks of volcanic rock with a pea shooter before upgrading to something more substantial. Just don't get cocky when you switch to missiles; you'll still need to weave between obstacles like it's some messed-up flight simulator.
It's got that perfect balance of janky charm and genuine tension—you really do start sweating when your engine starts sputtering mid-flight. The pixelated passengers cheering or screaming depending on your piloting skills is a nice touch too.
