Sonic swings a comically huge sword in this Flash oddball—dodge Mecha Sonic’s attacks, team up with Tails and Knuckles, and slash through enemies like a JRPG on caffeine. The controls take getting used to, but the chaos is weirdly charming.

Final Fantasy Sonic X2 is this weirdly fun mashup where Sonic somehow ends up in a Zelda-style world—and yeah, it works better than you'd think. Right off the bat, you're thrown into a fight against Mecha Sonic, who's basically a giant pain in the ass until you figure out his patterns. Good thing Tails and Knuckles show up to help, because that first battle would be brutal solo.
The whole thing feels like someone took a classic Sonic game and ran it through a JRPG filter, complete with swords, magic, and way too many explosions. The controls are a little janky (it is Flash, after all), but once you get used to it, there's something oddly satisfying about watching Sonic slash through enemies with a sword twice his size.
Just don't expect it to make much sense—half the fun is seeing how bizarre the crossover gets.
