I picked up Avatar: The Last Airbender on the Game Boy Advance back in 2006, a time when licensed games were a mixed bag. THQ published it, and it was one of those portable titles you'd play between classes or on long car rides. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it captured the show's spirit well enough for a GBA cart.

You control Aang as he explores environments screen by screen, fighting Fire Nation soldiers with his bending abilities. The main goal is to rescue villagers and ultimately confront the antagonist. Signature mechanics include switching between air, water, and fire bending to solve puzzles and defeat enemies, along with some light platforming. The pacing is straightforward, though some sections can feel repetitive. It's a simple but satisfying adaptation that makes you feel like you're part of the Avatar's journey.
