Game Overview

Avatar - The Legend Of Aang (Sir VG) is a GBA action-adventure game that tries to capture the feel of the show, but it's rough around the edges. You move Aang through side-scrolling levels, using basic bending attacks against Fire Nation soldiers. The controls are stiff, and the bending doesn't feel as fluid as you'd hope.

I remember getting stuck early on because the hit detection was wonky—my water whip kept missing enemies right in front of me. The sprites are decent for a GBA game, though, and it's kinda neat seeing locations like the Southern Air Temple in pixel form.

If you're a hardcore Avatar fan, you might get some nostalgia from it, but don't expect deep combat or a faithful story. Avatar - The Legend Of Aang (Sir VG) feels more like a rushed tie-in than a proper adaptation.
