Point-and-click cyberpunk adventure with puzzle-solving and character interactions. Released in 1994 for Amiga.

Released: 1994
File size: 566.16 KB

B.A.T. II on the Amiga is one of those weird, ambitious RPGs from the early '90s that throws you into a cyberpunk world with more systems than it knows what to do with. You start off creating this bizarrely detailed character—stats, skills, even your backstory affects how NPCs react. At first, it feels overwhelming, but after an hour or so, you realize half the fun is stumbling through the clunky menus and figuring out how to hack terminals or sweet-talk shady dealers.

The graphics are blocky but have this grimy charm, like a comic book left out in the rain. And the soundtrack? Pure moody synth that makes even walking down a pixelated alley feel like you’re in some forgotten cyber-noir flick. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this is the kind of game where you’ll accidentally piss off a gang because you clicked the wrong dialogue option.

If you’re into janky, atmospheric RPGs with more personality than polish, this one’s a time capsule worth digging into.
