1992 Amiga point-and-click adventure. Cyberpunk setting with puzzles, character interactions, and exploration. Features dystopian themes and pixel-art visuals.
B.A.T. II on the Amiga is one of those weird, ambitious RPGs that feels like it tried to do everything at once—cyberpunk setting, open-world exploration, and even some real-time combat. You start off in this grimy futuristic city where you can just wander into random buildings, talk to NPCs who may or may not have useful info, and get into fights that somehow feel both clunky and oddly satisfying.
The graphics are very much of their time—lots of pixelated neon and dark alleyways—but there’s something charming about how much personality they crammed into it. The dialogue’s a bit stiff (and the translation doesn’t help), but I remember getting weirdly invested in some of the side quests. Just don’t expect a polished modern RPG—this is pure late-'90s Amiga jank, in the best way.
If you’re into obscure retro RPGs with rough edges, this one’s a fascinating time capsule.
