BackTrack throws you into a cheesy but fun sci-fi nightmare—some guy named Domingoanix (seriously) and his mutant army have turned the moon into a droid factory, and Earth’s next if you don’t stop them. The whole thing plays like a love letter to Wolfenstein 3D, with blocky corridors, chunky guns, and that satisfyingly simple run-and-gun feel.
You’ll blast through waves of assimilated humans-turned-droids, hunting for keys and trying not to get lost in the maze-like base. The real surprise? The multiplayer. Deathmatch is chaotic in the best way, and Matrix Assault (where you respawn as an enemy if you die) turns every match into a paranoid backstab fest. Even if no one’s around, the bots are decent enough to make it feel alive.
It’s not deep, but sometimes you just want to shoot weird mutants on the moon.
