Bad Street Brawler came out on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, developed by Beam Software. You can pick up weapons like nunchucks or a boomerang, and there's a special spinning kick move you can unleash. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, but there's a simple, cathartic rhythm to clearing each screen of enemies. It feels like a messy, energetic brawl from start to finish.
