Play Bad Street Brawler Online
Punching gorillas and dodging purse-throwing grannies as a tank-top-wearing ex-rocker—this MS-DOS brawler’s janky controls somehow make the chaos even better.

Game Overview
Bad Street Brawler is this gloriously weird MS-DOS beat 'em up from 1987 where you play as Duke Davis—a sunglasses-wearing, tank-top-sporting "world's coolest" martial artist (who also happens to be a former punk rocker, naturally). The moment you start, you're thrown into these chaotic street brawls against the strangest enemies: gorillas, old ladies chucking purses like they're dumbbells, and what looks like weightlifting dwarves. It’s ridiculous in the best way.
Between stages, you get these random, vaguely philosophical quotes like "Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you," which just adds to the game’s bizarre charm. The controls are clunky by today’s standards, but there’s something oddly satisfying about plowing through waves of enemies with Duke’s over-the-top moves. It’s one of those games that makes you laugh at how absurd it is while still being weirdly fun to play.
If you’re into retro games with personality, this one’s a time capsule of late '80s weirdness.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
