Bargon Attack is one of those weird, charming Amiga games that flew under the radar but had a surprising amount of personality. It’s a sci-fi adventure with cyberpunk vibes and a dash of humor—imagine a scrappy human programmer trying to outsmart alien overlords with equal parts wit and luck.

You bounce between about 20 locations, each just a screen or two, solving puzzles and dodging bizarre alien tech. Some moments get tense—like when you accidentally trigger a trap or face off against one of the Bargon’s creatures—but you can always retry. There are even a few arcade-style sequences to break up the exploration.

What really stood out at the time was the FMV cutscenes (pretty cutting-edge back then) and the interface, which later became a signature for Coktel Vision’s games. It’s janky in places, but that’s part of the charm. If you dig retro adventures with a quirky edge, this one’s worth digging up.
