Download Bargon Attack_Disk3 ROM – Amiga Game
1992 Amiga adventure game. Play as a programmer rebelling against alien rulers. Explore 20+ locations, solve puzzles, and battle creatures. Mixes point-and-click with arcade action. Features FMV cutscenes.
Bargon Attack is this weird little sci-fi adventure from Coktel Vision that flew under the radar—which is a shame, because it actually introduced the interface they'd use in later games. You play as a programmer fighting back against these alien overlords called the Bargon, and the whole thing has this oddball mix of cyberpunk and slapstick humor.
The levels are bite-sized (just a few screens each), but there’s a surprising amount of variety—one minute you’re sneaking past alien tech, the next you’re thrown into an arcade-style sequence where everything tries to kill you. And yeah, you can die, but the game doesn’t punish you too hard for it. The FMV cutscenes were pretty cutting-edge for the time, too, even if they look hilariously dated now.
It’s not the deepest adventure out there, but there’s something charming about its scrappy, low-budget ambition. If you’ve ever wondered where Coktel’s style started, this is a fun little time capsule.
