Bartman Meets Radioactive Man came out for the NES in 1992, developed by Imagineering. It was one of those late era licensed games that tried to squeeze a bit more life out of the aging console, a side scrolling platformer based on a Simpsons comic book gag. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it had a certain chaotic charm that felt very much of its time.

You control Bart, who gets pulled into the comic book world and dons the Bartman suit. The main goal is to fight through several stages of enemies to rescue Radioactive Man. You move screen by screen, punching and kicking thugs, and you have a special eye laser attack that is wildly inconsistent in both its aim and power. The levels are filled with obstacles like giant pencils and erasers that drop from the sky, and the screen can get very busy, very quickly. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty spikes are pretty unforgiving, especially in later stages. It feels like a messy, slightly broken cartoon that you have to wrestle with to make any progress.
