Game Overview
Battlantis is one of those old-school arcade shooters where you're stuck at the bottom of the screen, dodging and blasting away at waves of enemies coming from above. You've got this little guy who can only move left or right—no fancy diagonals here—while weird creatures and warriors shuffle around in formations or sometimes break off to dive straight at you.
What's cool is how some enemies just hang back shooting, while others charge down like they've got nothing to lose. Every now and then, a cart rolls across the top—if you manage to hit it, you grab a bonus, but good luck lining that shot up mid-battle. And yeah, if anything touches you or their shots land, you lose a life. Three strikes and you're out.
Clear a wave, and you get a proper boss fight—these guys take way more hits to bring down, and they don't mess around. It's simple, but the patterns keep you on your toes. The whole thing has that classic "one more try" feel when you swear you'll do better next time.
