You're dropped onto Chromos, a planet where the Drullians are desperately fighting Skynet-Titan (yes, that kind of AI nightmare). What I love is how the split-screen works: while you're moving your tanks and infantry around, the other player (or AI) is already plotting their counterattacks. Battles resolve between turns, and your surviving units slowly level up, which makes those early-game scouts surprisingly useful later on. The 16 single-player missions start simple but get brutal fast, and the two-player mode is where the real mind games happen. Just don't get too attached to your veteran units—this AI plays dirty.
