You control one of three muscular toads, Rash, Zitz, or Pimple, on a mission to rescue your kidnapped friend. The game is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you punch, kick, and use morphing limb attacks to clear screens of enemies. The main objective is to fight through eleven wildly different stages, each introducing a new, brutal mechanic. Signature stages include the infamous turbo tunnel, a high-speed vehicle section requiring perfect memorization of obstacles, and a vertical climbing sequence where you must avoid falling rocks. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is famously unforgiving, demanding precise timing and pattern recognition.
