Game Overview
Battletoads & Double Dragon is this weird, awesome mashup where the Battletoads team up with Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon to take down the Dark Queen—again. She’s back with a giant spaceship called Colossus, and this time she’s got the Shadow Warriors backing her up. So naturally, the Toads call in the Lee brothers for some serious butt-kicking.
The gameplay’s classic side-scrolling beat ‘em up, but with that Battletoads twist—expect some brutal difficulty spikes and weirdly satisfying combat. You’ll punch, kick, and occasionally turn into a wrecking ball (because why not?). The Double Dragon guys fit right in, though I always found the Toads’ moves a little more unpredictable. Just don’t get too comfortable—this game doesn’t go easy on you.
It’s chaotic, ridiculous, and somehow makes perfect sense for these two franchises to collide. If you’re into old-school brawlers with attitude, this one’s a blast.
