Play Bio-Hazard Battle Online
Dodge mutant crabs and swarming bio-horrors in this Genesis shooter where your ship’s the only thing that isn’t alive—upgrade weapons on the fly and try not to get digested by the scenery.

Bio-Hazard Battle is one of those Genesis shooters that sticks with you—mostly because everything’s alive. You’re not just dodging bullets, you’re fighting through a nightmare ecosystem of mutant crabs, pulsating bio-pods, and swarms of things that used to be flies. The whole planet’s rebelling against its creators, and your ship feels like the last sane piece of tech left.
You pick from four ships (I always went with the green one—its spread shot saved me more times than I can count), and then it’s just you, a handful of upgrade orbs, and eight levels of beautifully gross alien landscapes. The cool part? You can mix and match three weapons at once, switching between forward blasts, homing shots, or whatever else you scavenge mid-flight. Just don’t get too comfortable—those later levels don’t mess around.
It’s got that classic “one more try” energy, even when the difficulty spikes make you want to throw your controller. The soundtrack’s all eerie synths and pounding bass, which somehow makes the giant worm boss even creepier. If you like your shooters with a side of body horror, this one’s still weirdly satisfying decades later.
