Double Dragon on MAME is that old-school arcade brawl you remember—or should play if you missed it. You pick Billy or Jimmy (or team up with a friend) and punch, kick, and elbow your way through waves of street thugs to save Marian. The controls are simple—jump, attack, grab the occasional pipe—but those enemy gangs don’t mess around. One wrong move and you’re eating a boot to the face.

It’s got that classic side-scrolling chaos where crowds swarm you, and the music alone will teleport you straight back to arcade cabinets and sticky floors. Just don’t expect fancy combos—this is pure, unfiltered 80s beat-’em-up action. The co-op mode is where it really shines, though. Nothing like accidentally whacking your buddy mid-fight and laughing it off while a mohawked goon chokes you out.
