Play Double Dragon Advance Online
Punch your way through waves of thugs with smoother controls, pulling off suplexes and spin kicks while the pixelated streets of Metro City look meaner than ever. Grab a friend for co-op and it feels like the arcade—just no quarters needed.

Double Dragon Advance came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Million and published by Atlus. It arrived during a period when the GBA was full of arcade revivals, and this one stood out for being more than just a simple port. It felt like a proper reimagining of the original beat 'em up, built specifically for handheld play.
You control either Billy or Jimmy Lee, martial artists fighting through screen after screen of enemy gangs to rescue a kidnapped woman. The game expands your moveset significantly from earlier versions, letting you perform suplexes, spin kicks, and other grappling maneuvers alongside the classic punches and jumps. You pick up weapons like knives and whips from defeated foes, adding a layer of strategy to the brawling. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is substantial, demanding quick reflexes and smart crowd control. It feels responsive and brutal, like every hit has real weight behind it.
