Game Overview
Double Dragon Advance takes the classic arcade brawler and cranks it up—way up. Yeah, it’s got the same street fights and cheesy '80s vibes as the original, but now there’s more to punch, more to break, and way more ways to get wrecked if you’re not careful. The new levels throw you into some wild spots (that prison escape level? Brutal), and the extra moves—like counters and throws—actually make fights feel less button-mashy than before.
Weapons are everywhere—knives, bats, even whips—but enemies grab them too, so you’ve gotta stay on your toes. And if you’ve got a friend nearby, co-op’s still the best way to play, just like the old days. The GBA screen’s tiny, but somehow they made the chaos even bigger.
It’s still Double Dragon, just with more reasons to keep playing after the first credits roll.
