Double Dragon Advance takes the classic arcade brawler and cranks it up—new moves, weapons, and even a few extra stages to smash through. It still feels like the old-school beat 'em up you remember, but now you’ve got spinning kicks and suplexes to wreck those street punks with. The GBA version somehow makes the pixelated chaos look even sharper.
First thing you’ll notice? The controls are way smoother than the original. That clunky jump kick actually lands now, and grabbing a pipe or knife mid-fight feels satisfying instead of awkward. The new survival mode’s brutal—I got wrecked by the third wave of enemies, but it’s the kind of pain that makes you wanna try again immediately.
