Double Dragon Fighters is one of those classic beat 'em ups that feels like it was made for late-night couch co-op. You play as the Lee brothers—Billy and Jimmy—on a mission to rescue their sister from some shady dude named Koga Shuko (who, by the way, definitely looks like he cheats at cards).
The controls are simple but satisfying: punch, kick, and jump your way through waves of goons in streets, alleys, and weirdly empty warehouses. First player gets WASD for movement, while the second player uses arrow keys—just like the old arcade days. I kept accidentally hitting the wrong buttons at first, but after a few rounds, smashing thugs with flying kicks becomes second nature.
It’s got that rough-around-the-edges Flash game charm, where some enemies take way too many hits and the backgrounds look like they were drawn in MS Paint. But that’s part of the fun. If you’ve ever wanted to brawl through a pixelated underworld with a friend, this one’s a solid pick.
