Double Dragon on the Sega Master System is one of those classic beat-em-ups that feels rough around the edges now but was absolutely wild back in the day. You and a buddy (or just you, if you're going solo) punch, kick, and elbow your way through waves of street thugs to rescue Marian—because of course it's a damsel-in-distress setup. The controls are stiff by today's standards, but there's something satisfying about landing a well-timed spin kick or grabbing some jerk by the hair and kneeing him in the face.

It’s shorter than you’d expect—beat it in under an hour if you’re good—but the two-player mode makes it way more chaotic. Just don’t get too attached to the Sega port’s graphics; the arcade version blows it out of the water. Still, for a couch co-op nostalgia trip, it’s hard to go wrong with this one.
