Game Overview
Skate or Die 2 on NES is one of those weirdly charming sequels where you can either mess around on a halfpipe or dive into a full-on adventure mode. I went for the adventure first—you play as this skater kid in Elmood, where the mayor suddenly bans skateboards (rude). So now you're sneaking around, dodging paintball-wielding jerks and egg-throwing rivals while trying to rebuild your skate life. The best part? You bump into Lester, this skater dude who upgrades your board if you bribe him with random stuff like fries or CDs. It's janky, but in that nostalgic way where getting egged by NPCs somehow feels nostalgic.
