This one’s got a few twists: new fighters with their own weird moves (the ninja’s shurikens are fun, but honestly, I always go back to the Lee brothers), and you actually travel to different countries, which is cool until you realize every street gang looks suspiciously similar. It’s harder than the first two, so don’t be surprised if you get wrecked a few times before figuring out the rhythm.
Not as smooth as Double Dragon II, but if you miss that arcade feel—where the hits are crunchy, the dialogue is ridiculous, and the action never lets up—this is a solid way to spend an afternoon. Just maybe keep a spare controller handy for when you rage-quit.
