Game Overview

Double Dragon 3 on MS-DOS is one of those beat 'em ups that feels both nostalgic and a little janky in the best way. You’re still punching and kicking your way through waves of thugs, but this time there’s a weird artifact hunt mixed in—something about the Rosetta Stone? Honestly, the story’s just an excuse to brawl, and that’s fine by me.

The controls take a second to get used to, especially if you’re coming from the arcade version. The sprites are chunky, the hits land with that satisfying old-school crunch, and yeah, you’ll probably die a few times figuring out the timing. Pro tip: grab a buddy for co-op—it’s way more fun when you’re both getting mobbed by the same goons.

It’s not the smoothest port, but if you’re into retro brawlers, this one’s got enough charm to keep you throwing elbows for an afternoon.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
