Birdie Try is one of those simple-but-maddening arcade golf games where you’ll swear the wind changes direction just to mess with you. You’ve got a limited number of balls, so every swing counts—especially when there’s water lurking nearby. The controls are straightforward: adjust your angle, watch the power meter bounce back and forth (why does it feel faster when you’re nervous?), and pray the wind doesn’t send your shot into the rough. Different clubs help, but I still panic and default to the driver half the time.
What starts as a chill round quickly turns into a battle against physics and your own impatience. You’ll know true pain when your last ball plops straight into a pond. It’s the kind of game you play “just one more round” of until you realize you’ve been muttering at the screen for 20 minutes.
