Blastar_Disk3 is one of those Amiga space shooters that feels way ahead of its time. You're piloting this little ship in a massive 400-screen universe, spinning around to blast aliens coming at you from every angle. The inertia makes it tricky—your ship keeps drifting like you're actually in zero-G, so you've gotta plan your moves ahead instead of just jamming the controls.
The scanner's your best friend here. Without it, you'd be totally blind to enemies sneaking up from off-screen. And those animated starfields in the background? Gorgeous for an OCS game. The techno soundtrack pumps the whole thing up while you're dodging and weaving—just don't get too cocky, because three hits and you're space dust.
Honestly, the first time I played, I crashed into an asteroid within 30 seconds. But once you get the hang of that floaty physics, it's weirdly satisfying to slide into a perfect shot.
