Blazer is one of those old-school arcade shooters where you're constantly sweating over your fuel gauge while dodging bullets from every angle. You switch between controlling a tank (Vanguard) and a helicopter (Handy), blasting enemies on the ground and in the air as you push upward through war-torn landscapes. That fuel meter at the bottom? It's always ticking down, so you’ll be desperately snatching up fuel canisters between firefights.
Vanguard’s anti-air missiles sometimes knock loose power-ups—either a quick fuel boost or temporary invincibility, which feels like a lifesaver when you’re surrounded. And if you spot gates labeled "T2" or "T3," plow through them. T2 turns your tank into a beast that fires in four directions at once, while T3 gives you this ridiculous cannon that obliterates everything in its path. The final mission throws a curveball with an airboat called Maiboto, just to keep you on your toes.
It’s tough, chaotic, and exactly what you’d want from a classic arcade shooter.
