BloodNet is this weird, moody cyberpunk RPG from the Amiga days that somehow blends vampires with hacking and neon-soaked dystopia. You start off as this infected guy trying to cure himself before turning full vampire, and the whole thing feels like someone mashed together Blade Runner and Dracula with a side of retro-future tech.
The interface takes some getting used to—classic '90s point-and-click with a combat system that’s half real-time, half turn-based. But once it clicks, there’s something oddly satisfying about negotiating with shady netrunners one minute and stake-fighting bloodsuckers the next. The pixel art’s got that gritty charm, all dark alleys and flickering CRT screens.
Fair warning: it’s janky in places, and the difficulty spikes can be brutal. But if you’re into that era of experimental RPGs with more atmosphere than polish, it’s a trip worth taking. Just save often—trust me.
