I remember picking up The Blues Brothers for the Amiga back in 1991, developed by Titus Software. It was a time when licensed games were everywhere, and this one tried to capture the spirit of the film with a side-scrolling action approach. The Amiga had plenty of arcade-style games, and this fit right in, offering colorful graphics and that familiar Blues Brothers attitude without trying to reinvent the wheel.

You control either Jake or Elwood, working through urban levels to rescue your missing band members. The gameplay involves running, jumping over obstacles, and avoiding enemies like cops and bouncers. You also collect instruments and microphones to progress, with a two-player co-op mode that lets a friend join as the other brother. The pacing is fairly quick, though the difficulty can spike with some tricky enemy placements. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes frantic dash through a cartoon version of the Blues Brothers' world.
