Bograts is one of those weirdly charming Amiga puzzle games that feels like it crawled out of a late-night cartoon session. You control these little rodent-like creatures (the "Bograts") through a maze of obstacles, pushing blocks and solving puzzles to escape each level. The art style's got this grungy, hand-drawn look—like someone sketched it in the margins of a school notebook.
At first, the controls take a second to click—you’ve got to time your pushes just right or you’ll trap yourself. But once you get the hang of it, there’s something satisfying about nudging blocks into place while dodging whatever weird hazards the level throws at you. Some of the later puzzles actually made me stop and think for a minute, which I wasn’t expecting from a game about cartoon rats.
If you’re into old-school puzzle games with personality, this one’s worth digging up.
