Play Boktai - The Sun is in your Hand (E)(Rising Sun) Online
You hunt vampires with a solar-powered gun—but the cartridge’s light sensor means you’ll actually need sunlight to recharge it, so good luck playing indoors on a cloudy day. Sneak through ruins, lure monsters into patches of light, and try not to panic when your gun dies mid-fight.

Game Overview
Boktai is one of those weird, brilliant GBA games that makes you go, "Wait, this actually works?" You play as Django, a vampire hunter armed with a solar gun—and here’s the kicker: the cartridge has a light sensor. Cloudy day? Good luck recharging. Bright sunshine? Time to melt some undead.
It’s like if Metal Gear Solid and Castlevania had a kid raised by solar panels. You’ll sneak through dark ruins, lure vampires into patches of light, and occasionally panic when your weapon’s juice runs low mid-fight. The first time I played, I ended up sitting by a window like some kind of sun-worshipping gamer, angling the cartridge just right. The gothic pixel art and eerie music nail the vibe, and the sunlight gimmick never gets old (though your family might side-eye you for playing outside at noon).
Fair warning: this game will make you weirdly aware of the weather.
