Bruce Lee - Return Of The Legend (Venom) (EU) is a side-scrolling beat 'em up that tries to capture the speed and fluidity of Bruce Lee's fighting style. The first few minutes feel stiff though—your punches and kicks don't always land the way you expect, and enemies swarm you in tight spaces.
It gets better once you unlock a few moves. There's something satisfying about chaining together a combo and watching Bruce flip across the screen, even if the controls aren't as precise as they should be. The sprites are decent for a GBA game, but the backgrounds are pretty bland.
Bruce Lee - Return Of The Legend (Venom) (EU) isn't a bad game, just a bit rough around the edges. It's fun in short bursts if you're a fan of the genre.
